Arabians Ltd. is happy to give an update on a small group of the horses we’ve exported to Egypt.
Ahmad Amer’s Al Kahira Arabians brought Bellagio RCA‘s little brother, Mirajh RCA, to Egypt shortly after his Egyptian Event EBC Championship win. In Egypt, he won Reserve Champion Colt at the El Zahraa National Show AND Junior Champion Colt at the Egyptian Nationals! As a sire, he been producing one champion after another!
Thee Desperado Son Sold to Qatar
Arabians Ltd. is honored that Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa al Thani of Doha, Qatar has chosen a Thee Desperado son for his Al Shahania Stud! Ezz Al Shahania (Thee Desperado x *Abha Qalams) was born earlier this year and possesses a pedigree of champions–not only was his sire Unanimous Supreme Champion at Scottsdale, but his dam, *Abha Qalams, was Reserve Junior Champion Filly there!
Alixir Son Arrives in Cairo!
El Galal I being guarded in quarantine in Cairo, Egypt
We are happy to report that El Galal I (Alixir x Bint Imaara by Alidaar) has arrived safely in Cairo, Egypt! His new owner, Ahmed Amer, was so excited to see him that he slept in his car waiting for the 2-year-old to arrive! El Galal settled into quarantine without incident and Mr. Amer took pictures on his cell phone as the colt was admired by his guard (above) and El Galal admired the mares in the nearby stalls.
El Galal I was bred by Jim and Constance Markham and was a Reserve Champion at the 2009 Egyptian Event. Arabians Ltd. is honored to be strengthening the bloodlines of the Egyptian Arabian in Egypt.

Thee Epitome RCA, The Sequel RCA x Imdala RCA, at home in Cairo
Egyptian Event Champion Thee Epitome RCA is now a breeding stallion in Egypt! The beautiful 3-year-old, owned by Mr. Moustafa Masry of Cairo, Egypt, is expecting his first foal crop at the end of the year.
Last fall Thee Epitome made an exciting journey overseas, even taking in some of the sights on the streets of downtown Cairo en route to his new home. His pedigree and beauty should combine to produce beautiful foals and we are pleased that he’s found such a great home with Mr. Masry in the land of his ancestors.

Congratulations to international Arabian trainer Frank Spoenle on the arrival of his first American-born foal! Born February 15th via embryo transfer to Padrons Psyche daughter Christina JD, this Egyptian-sired Thee Desperado filly is big, bay and beautiful!
Frank is so happy with this filly, who he’s named FS Thee Cinderella, that he has made plans to keep her in the US and show her here in 2010! He’s also breeding Christina back to Thee Desperado for 2010.
Thee Desperado‘s stud book is still open to non-straight Egyptian mares! Let us know if you’re interested in creating a beautiful foal like Cinderella!

Nouf (Farres x Min Mins Magnolia by Thee Desperado)
Arabians Ltd. is happy to share that two straight Egyptian fillies from our bloodlines are being proudly campaigned by HRH Prince Fahad al Saud of Saudi Arabia! The yearling filly Nouf (Farres x Min Mins Magnolia (Thee Desperado x Amal Ali)) showed in this weekend’s Al Khalediah Arabian Horse Festival in Saudi Arabia’s capitol city, Riyadh. She has already been winning her way through the Middle East and we can’t wait to see how she continues to do! Nouf’s dam, Min Mins Magnolia, was bred by Mindy and David Maas.
European win for Thee Desperado son
Congratulations to Egyptian Arabian stallion Entebbe CA (Thee Desperado x Shaamisa Mystique), who won Most Beautiful Head Male at the 2008 Egyptian Event Europe this summer! No stranger to the winner’s circle, the 8-year-old stallion was 2002 Egyptian Event Reserve Junior Champion Colt in the US, and 2004 Israeli Reserve National Champion Stallion! Entebbe is proudly owned by the Miro family and has been a wonderful ambassador for Thee Desperado overseas.
MC Alexsis shows at Egyptian Event Europe
At the Egyptian Event Europe August 2nd & 3rd, our dear MC Alexsis won her third title since traveling to Europe earlier this summer. She was named Reserve Senior Champion Mare with Frank Spoenle on the lead! The Event, held at the beautiful Castle of Pietersheim in Lanaken, Belgium, is an exciting show, and we’re glad that Alexsis had a chance to show off her beauty and bloodlines to great acclaim there! As much as we miss her here, it’s wonderful to see her star shining so brightly in a different part of the world.
