Congratulations to Tim Manring, whose yearling Egyptian Arabian colt Justynn (Alixir x Bint Bint Justina by Thee Desperado) was Junior Champion Colt at this summer’s Egyptian Event!

Ahmad Amer purchased the black colt from Tim as both a show horse and future breeding stallion for his farm in Cairo, Egypt. Read more »

Congratulations to LF Triumphant Star (Thee Desperado x Princess Tammen), who won Reserve National Champion at the 2008 Youth National Championships this week! She was trained by Ted Carson and shown to her win by Nicholas Dean in the Arabian Mare Breeding JTH 17 & Under Championship Class.

This beautiful 3-year-old was bred by our friends Gary and Sandra Fernandes of Lyday Farms, who are Thee Desperado Lifetime Breeders and have had incredible success by using him in their breeding program! LF Triumphant Star is owned by the Butler, Smith and Collins families. Star was also Reserve Junior Champion Mare at the 2007 Egyptian Event, trained and shown by Lyday’s trainer Bryan Jeffries!

Star is a full younger sister to LF Starzafire, who is now owned by HRH Prince Abdulla bin Fahad al Saud of Saudi Arabia.

Saturday is always an exciting day, with the Egyptian Breeders Challenge class as a highlight. This year, we had 3 entries take home 3 ribbons (and be in the money!):

• Kamar Magidaa LDA (Mishaal HP x Illa Magidaa LDA by Thee Desperado), Top 10, owned by Dr. Dennis and Roxanne Parks
• Silkhs Blessing DNJ (Thee Asil x Silkh SWA by Thee Desperado), Reserve Champion, owned by Vincent Young
