Our friends at Egypt’s El Gamil Stud are adding to their high-quality herd of Egyptian Arabians! Mishaals Princess, bred by Mark and Nancy Ness, and her foal will stay with us until they are ready to make the trip to Egypt.

It is with great pride Eric and Stacey Mlak congratulate Osman Linjawi on his recent purchase of the popular exotic champion filly Lola SIG (Mishaal HP x Thee Phoenixx by Thee Infidel).
Lola will represent her new owner and the Signature Stables breeding program at the Egyptian Event in June before making her way to competition in Europe and eventually on to her new home in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Nayla Hayek of Switzerland has chosen the exquisite yearling filly Gameelah LDA (Thee Desperado x Magidaat Al Gamal LDA by Mishaal HP) for her herd! Gameelah was bred by Louise and Dan DeRusseau, as was Egyptian Event Futurity Champion Noor Magidaa LDA (Mishaal HPx Illa Magidaa LDA by Thee Desperado), who was purchased by Dr. Hayek earlier this year. Noor won ribbons at the Egyptian Event Europe just days after her arrival there! These fillies are great choices for a foundation of straight Egyptian breeding in Switzerland and we wish Dr. Hayek much success with them!
We are pleased to announce the new owners of one of our favorite 2010 fillies, Jamillas Belle RCA, a feminine bay beauty by Pimlico RCA and out of Desperados Belle RCA. Melonie and Michael Behan and their children chose this filly and plan to show her in partnership with breeder Judy Sirbasku in the EBC class at this year’s Egyptian Event! Son Joseph attends nearby Baylor University, so he can visit their new addition whenever he wants! Congratulations to a wonderful family on acquiring an outstanding filly.

What a pedigree this filly has–Skyy is Thornewood’s foundation mare and has given Thornewood many beautiful foals over the years. We expect Celeste will do the same for the Piccolos!
