2010 Cowtown Classic Results

Last weekend, Arabians Ltd.’s Show and Amateur Handler Divisions were well-represented at the 2010 Cowtown Classic in Ft. Worth, Texas! The Cowtown Classic has always been a great show for our horses and handlers, and this year carried on the tradition!

Congratulations to the following beautiful Egyptian Arabians who placed in the ribbons, led by amateur handlers:

Asilah Zaynah (Thee Asil x Silkh SWA by Thee Infidel), Reserve Champion Mare, shown by her owner Vincent Young against a class of professional handlers! Asilah Zaynah, also an Egyptian Event Reserve Champion EBC Filly, was bred by Darlene and Johnny Goris.

Amal Magidaa LDA (Mishaal HP x Il Bint Magidaa by Thee Desperado) was 2nd place AOTR with Amberle Pope and 2nd place with Arabians Ltd. Head Trainer Luis Paniagua in the 3 & 4 Year Old Mares class. This was the first show for both Amberle and Amal! Amal Magidaa LDA is owned by Amberle’s parents, Ceil and Biff Pope, and was bred by Dan and Louise DeRusseau.

Congratulations to the owners and breeders of these outstanding straight Egyptian Arabian fillies! Arabians Ltd. Junior Handlers Kim and Michelle Shutts also made us proud by winning a Grand Championship and a Reserve Championship under saddle!
